Tasting Notes: Red stone fruits and green apple
Suitable for: Espresso and Filter - a real all-rounder
We sampled this coffee without paying attention to what other roasters are buying at the moment. Strangely enough, we've found that one of our favourite roasteries is currently roasting the exact same bean. We feel like we're in good company with this one.
Red fruits dominate in the cup. Upon cooling it gives way in part to the pleasant acidity of green apples. It's a nicely balanced washed coffee, and as the weather cools Gareth can imagine drinking carafes of the stuff. The humble cafetiere does a great job at bringing out the best in this coffee, and a few of our customers have bragged about some fantastic flat whites.
